We will be having practice tonight, Thursday, January 26, if you wish to come. I do however want the purple group to come from 4:30-5:30 if possible. This way everyone can be on their way home by the time the weather is suppose to turn bad again.
Directions to Hardin County:
Take State Route 65 South.
Merge onto US 30 just after Cairo. Follow for 14 miles.
Exit onto OH 235 towards Ada. Follow OH 235 for 6.5 miles.
Turn Left onto OH 309. Follow for 12 miles.
Turn Right onto Hillcrest road, follow for .3 miles.
Turn Left onto Franklin Street.

Welcome to the beginning of the swim season for 2011-2012! We are excited to be starting our season again. Please read all of the information below because there are a couple of changes occurring this season.
1st Day of practice for the Gold and Red groups will be on: Monday, September 26, 2012. The 1st day of practice for the Pink and Purple groups will be on Monday, October 17, 2011. I know this is later then last year but I feel it will benefit our team and the schedules of all you.
There will be a parents meeting the first weed of October. The date has not been decided but we will let you know as soon as possible. This meeting will be for all of the parents and it is important for you to try and make it.
For new swimmers there will be a "Watch and See Night". This will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 6:30-6:45. This night will allow me to see the new swimmers ability and correctly put them in the group that will most benefit their abilities.
Payment Options:
1.) One check for the entire season
2.) Four payments that need to be completed by December 30, 2011
This is one of the changes that have occurred. You need to have all of your payments done by the 1st of next year. Another new policy will be not swimming if you have not paid. We at the YMCA understand that you may need help with the payments and need them to be more spread out. You will be responsible for communicating with the YMCA. If you make no effort in communicating with us and do not pay, you will no longer be able to participate in practices or meets until some form of payment is received.
Fees:
All swimmers must be a full member of the Putnam County YMCA.
$180.00 for the first child
$130.00 for the second child
$100.00 for the third child
(Every child after this is no charge)
$75.00 for High School swimmers
The policy for high school swimmers is that if you have a High school swimmer you will pay the reduced amount, but if you have other children swimming, the high school swimmer will not count as a first, second or third child.
Purple Group: Beginner swimmers. This is for first time swimmers who will be working on more stroke technique (Mainly 8 year olds and under).
Pink Group: Swimmers who have swim team experience of one season and who do not need as much stoke technique.
Red Group: Swimmers who are at least 9 years of age and have been on the swim team for two or more seasons.
Gold Group: Swimmers who have been swimming for at least four seasons and do not require as much stroke technique.
All new swimmers interested in joining the team will need to come to a ?Watch and See Night?. This will be when the new swimmers come to the pool and swim for the coaches. This will help the coaches see where the new swimmers abilities are and what group is the best for them. This will be held on Wednesday September 28th from 6:30-6:45.
