2011 Champs Information

The GNOAC Swimming Championships will be held July 9th and 10th at the Ayersville High School Pool.
1. There will be an O-G Tigersharks team tent for everyone to share outside the pool area.
2. The pool is actually indoors. There is limited seating in the balcony.
3. There will be a full concession available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
4. Warm-ups for the O-G Tigersharks will be from 8:00-8:30 am in Lane 6 both days.
5. The meet is set to start promptly at 8:40 am.
6. This is a preliminary/finals meet. There is a two-hour break after the conclusion of the prelimary events.
Warm-up times for the finals is TBD.
7. Pysche sheets will be posted by Wednesday, July 6th at http://days.usswim.net
8. The 8 and unders will swim on Saturday only.
9. We are required to provide two timers for one lane for each session. Sharon will set up a schedule and
post at a later date.
PLEASE NOTE ENTRIES FOR CHAMPS IS LIMITED. THIS IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE BSSL LEAGUE. IN THIS LEAGUE WE HAVE FOUR ENTRIES PER INDIVIDUAL EVENT AND AN A AND B RELAY. I WILL DO MY BEST TO GET ALL THOSE IN THE MEET WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE BUT YOU MAY NOT SWIM AS MANY EVENTS AS YOU HAVE IN THE PAST.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Saturday: All 8 and under events will be held in the morning or preliminary session. For them champs is a timed finals. This means they only swim their race once and their time determines their finish. Their events are mixed in with the following events; 500 FS, all ages back stroke, all ages 100 FS, all ages Butterfly, and all Medley Relays.
Sunday: 9 and up breast stroke, 11 and up 200 FS, 9 and up 50 FS, 9 and up IM, 9 and up Free Relays
